What we do
At Habitat for Humanity, we offer programs and initiatives to help support our home building costs and change the lives of hard-working, low-income families in need. Whether it’s our ReStore, our ReNew-It program or our unique team-building experiences – there are a variety of ways for you to get involved today!
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a retail store concept that accepts donations of overstocked, used, discontinued items and salvageable building materials donated from manufacturers, other stores, local contractors and the public. Items that are donated include new and gently used furniture, building materials, appliances, cabinetry, sinks, countertops, household and décor items, lighting and much more. The ReStore then sells those donated items to the public at a reduced cost, typically 30-70% percent less than the original retail value.
Our ReNew-It program services low-income homeowners in need of repairs which address health and safety, energy efficiency and accessibility.
Become a volunteer
Everyone has the ability to change the lives of families in need of a home. Help us build a better future in our community. Every volunteer contributes towards building a world where everyone has a safe, healthy place to live. At Habitat Moncton, our goal is to give more hard-working families a “hand up” – the opportunity to create new memories in a place that they can finally call “home”. A place that’s warm, a place that’s safe, a place where they don’t have to make the choice between money for rent or money for groceries.
