About Us

Who we are

At Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick, we serve the hardworking families in New Brunswick who are in need of a safe and affordable place to live. The Moncton Restore is one of two stores that make Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick. In 2023 the Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John Restores joined to become one affiliate.

Our vision

A world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick helps families in New Brunswick achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance by collaboratively eliminating barriers and facilitating access to safe and affordable housing.

Our values

Housing for All: We believe that access to safe, decent and affordable housing is a basic human right that should be available to all.

Diversity and Inclusiveness: We believe there is a role for everyone committed to our vision, mission and values and we seek to enrich our organization through diversity.

Partnership: We believe we can best achieve our mission through meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships with others.

Human Dignity: We believe in the worth and dignity of every human being. We respect the people we serve and those that help us in this effort and recognize them as our greatest resource.

What we do

At Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick, we offer programs and initiatives to help support our home building costs and change the lives of hard-working, low-income families in need. Whether it’s our ReStore or our unique team-building experiences, there are a variety of ways for you to get involved today!

ReStore

The Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick ReStore is a retail store concept that accepts donations of overstocked, used, discontinued items and salvageable building materials donated from manufacturers, other stores, local contractors and the public. Items that are donated include new and gently used furniture, building materials, appliances, cabinetry, sinks, countertops, household and décor items, lighting and much more. The ReStore then sells those donated items to the public at a reduced cost, typically 30-70% percent less than the original retail value.
